About the Role
Cape Fox Endeavor (CFE) is seeking dependable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Laborers to support a federal government client. This role focuses on grounds maintenance, landscaping, snow and ice removal, seasonal exterior upkeep, and general labor under the supervision of the ORF-DFOM Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.
What You'll Do

Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial, or public property (mowing, trimming, edging, pruning).

Plant, water, and care for grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs; assist with fertilizer/insecticide applications as directed.

Remove leaves, debris, and trash from exterior areas; clean and maintain restrooms, offices, and parking areas as directed.

Remove snow and ice from walks and parking areas using shovels, snow blowers, or snowplows; spread salt as needed.

Repair and paint fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings; assist with repairs to roads, walks, buildings, and equipment.

Safely operate hand and powered tools and authorized vehicles; complete tasks under supervision and support overtime as directed.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED.

Grounds maintenance experience including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, irrigation support, debris removal, and general upkeep.

Ability to safely perform snow and ice removal operations using hand and powered equipment.

Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work and work an eight-hour day.

Valid Driver's License if operating Government or contractor vehicles or equipment.

Ability to work overtime when directed; must have authorization to work in the United States.
Highly Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience maintaining industrial, commercial, or public grounds.

Experience operating riding mowers, snow blowers, snowplows, and salting equipment.

Experience supporting minor exterior repairs, painting, and facility upkeep.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $18.77 per hour. Benefits include specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as a 401K with company match.
