Compensation: $250,000-$500,000 base; OTE $400,000-$1,000,000. Individually structured on portable book and experience: competitive base + 15% origination credit on all business brought in, including cross-selling credit. Real estate partners with $1M+ books may be offered department leadership. 4 full-time marketing professionals, BD budget, and lower-than-NYC rates.
Location: Roseland, Woodbridge or Red Bank, NJ; New York, NY. Hybrid, flexible; new offices (e.g. Princeton, New York) possible for the right group. Visa: not open to any visas.

Partner with a portable book of business and significant experience to join a 115-year-old, full-service New Jersey firm in expansion mode. Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is growing across all practice areas; real estate is the top priority, but any partner with a meaningful book, the right rates and no conflicts is of interest.
What will you be doing?

Bring and grow your portable book of business on a full-service platform with 8 departments and cross-selling opportunities

Leverage Greenbaum's lower-than-NYC rates to retain price-sensitive clients and win new ones

Work with 4 full-time marketing professionals to develop and execute your business development plan

Mentor and train associates and counsel on your matters

For real estate partners with 7-figure+ books: step into department leadership as the senior partner transitions

Requirements

Portable book of business ($500K+ in originations); your own clients, not institutional or relationship credit

Stable career history (no moves every 2-3 years)

Clients that clear conflicts (e.g. land use partners representing municipalities are typically adverse)
