About this role
Graphic Design Intern
This position is responsible for the status of assigned design projects and ensures all work has been appropriately reviewed before sending to print or sharing with leadership and clients. This position involves implementing edit requests from clients and asking clarifying questions and completing client research as needed.
Responsibilities

Create original design content for print and digital

Work closely with the full-time designer to ensure cohesion and communication across requests

Maintain brand quality and alignment across all designs

Lead and/or assist with creating self-guided designs for various projects

Serve as an on-site photographer for occasional campus events to support college initiatives

Minimum Qualifications
-
Current University of Utah student
-
Preferences
-
Currently an enrolled University of Utah undergraduate student with more than two semesters before graduation

An interest in design, marketing, and social impact projects

Previous professional work experience in graphic design preferred but not required

Ability to work as part of a broader team and independently

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects in collaboration with team members

Effective communicator across digital platforms
