About the Role
We’re seeking talented Computing Science graduates to join our Glasgow Pronto team as Graduate Software Engineers. You’ll be trained by experienced staff and will work on developing Android applications using Java and XSLT, contributing to our mobile solutions that support UK police forces. What You'll Do

Write Java, XSLT and use our in-house tools to produce Android applications.

Work as part of an agile team, taking part in sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

Be exposed to the full software life cycle including requirements capture, design, implementation and testing.

After gaining experience, there are opportunities to progress into Senior Developer, Business Analyst and Project Management roles depending on your preferences and abilities.

This is a hybrid role with time split between the Glasgow Office and remote work. What We're Looking For

3 years UK residency is required for security checks.

A minimum of a 2:1 degree in BSc Computing Science, BSc Software Engineering, MSc Software Engineering, or similar.

Some experience with Java and a strong understanding of programming concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to undertake occasional travel (accompanied by a more experienced team member). Nice to Have
