About the Role The Graduate Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of the healthcare organization, and supports patient care across age-appropriate populations. The role emphasizes safe, quality care and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a patient care plan tailored to the patient’s age and needs.
- Initiate, monitor, and revise interdisciplinary plans of care based on assessment findings and physician orders.
- Complete comprehensive patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements to promote interdisciplinary communication.
- Provide ongoing and appropriate teaching to patients and families to guide them across the continuum of care.
- Support the development of students, new staff and colleagues; may serve as a preceptor.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
What We're Looking For
- Current PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance; Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance; Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance (and any additional background checks as required).
