About the Role ORTEC is actively engaging with students across the Netherlands through several career events in 2024–2025 to raise awareness of ORTEC and to connect with potential graduate interns. This role describes involvement with university events such as DAPC, NWERC, BAPC, Master speeddate with VSAE, Econometric Career Days (ECD), and more. The goal is to meet talented students, answer questions about ORTEC, and explore graduate internship opportunities. What You'll Do
- Represent ORTEC at career events, speed dates, company fairs, and workshops across multiple Dutch universities.
- Engage with students to discuss ORTEC, our projects in optimization and data analytics, and the possibility of a graduate internship.
- Support event activities, such as presenting cases (e.g., workforce scheduling) and participating in speed dating sessions.
- Build relationships with student associations (FAECTOR, Kraket, A-Eskwadraat, ASSET, and others) and universities to attract top talent.
- Provide information about ORTEC's opportunities and collect feedback from students. What We're Looking For
- Master students or graduates in Econometrics, Operations Research, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Interest in ORTEC and in pursuing a graduate internship.
- Enthusiasm for networking, presenting case studies, and participating in campus events across the Netherlands.
- Ability to engage professionally with students and academic associations across multiple universities. Nice to Have
- Interest or experience in optimization problems, algorithmic programming, or case-based assessments (e.g., workforce scheduling).
- Openness to attending multiple events in different cities and representing ORTEC in a positive, professional manner.
