Job title: Graduate Engineer – Vehicle Customization
About the Role Join Volvo Trucks Technology & Industrial Division in Gent as a Graduate Engineer focusing on vehicle customization. You will help adapt standard vehicles to customer specifications, design technical concepts, document and advise across departments, and take ownership of your concepts.
What You'll Do
- Help tailor standard vehicles to customer specifications and document the customization concepts.
- Develop non-standard technical concepts so they can be assembled in our factory and documented.
- Design technical solutions and advise other departments.
- Make independent decisions and take final responsibility for your concepts.
What We're Looking For
- Technical bachelor or master degree or equivalent; knowledge of trucks is a plus; experience not required; interest in automotive.
- Ability to work in a team; organizational and administrative skills; independent, accurate and structured.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient in Dutch and English; other languages a plus.
Nice to Have
- Truck knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Other languages are a plus.
