About the Role InGenius Prep is seeking a Graduate Coach to help students applying to US colleges and graduate programs. You will work 1-on-1 with applicants to develop their extracurricular profiles and applications, provide feedback, and support them throughout the process. The role offers flexible part-time options with opportunities for growth based on strengths and organizational needs.
What You'll Do
- 1-on-1 counseling with applicants to build their extracurricular profiles and applications;
- Meet remotely with students;
- Edit essays and provide feedback to foster students’ independent writing skills;
- Provide comprehensive support to students as they prepare their applications;
- Generate creative and practical professional experiences and projects for students’ extracurricular activities;
- Collaborate with a team of up to three counselors and a Senior Counselor Mentor to support each student’s progress;
- Maintain a caseload of anywhere from 0-15 students, depending on your availability.
What We're Looking For
- Phenomenal writing skills;
- Experience working with students;
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a US college/university;
- Masters and/or PhD, in progress or in hand (bonus);
- Teaching experience working with high school, college, or graduate students;
- Admissions experience.
