About the Role The Graduate Assistant will provide essential support to the Psychological and Brain Sciences department through a combination of research coordination and administrative responsibilities to support faculty and student needs. This role involves coordinating and proctoring make-up exams, guiding students through the General Psychology Research Requirement, and helping organize departmental events and day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and proctor the department’s make-up examinations for undergraduate students.
- Assist in administering the General Psychology Research Requirement, guiding students and maintaining completion records.
- Support the department chair and administrative staff with events and day-to-day operations.
- Perform ad-hoc research tasks to support faculty-led projects.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate student in the Psychology M.S. program who does not hold a Full Graduate Assistantship.
- Work-study eligibility preferred but open to all psychology graduate students.
- Availability to work up to 15 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
- Ability to communicate with students and maintain records.
- On-campus presence at Tolentine Hall.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $15.00/hour.
