Job title: Graduate Assistant (GA) - Ravens Sports Network
About the Role The Graduate Assistant supports the Ravens Sports Network (RSN) by providing production/technology support and on-air talent for live broadcasts. The role also includes supervising livestreams, producing runs of shows, archiving content, and training RSN undergraduates, as well as supporting other university events in the studio or in the field.
What You'll Do
- Work as production/technology support staff and/or on-air talent, calling RSN games.
- Supervise livestreams on FloCollege; produce Runs of Shows; archive livestreams on Vimeo; and train RSN undergraduates.
- Work other University events in the studio or in the field, as required; perform other duties as required.
- Manage student workers and maintain professionalism; troubleshoot under pressure.
- Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays and may change due to weather or new opportunities; flexibility and resilience are required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree; Candidate must be accepted to Franklin Pierce graduate school before the GA application will be considered (acceptance must be confirmed before consideration).
- Professionalism; an aptitude for technology and sports in general; ability to work, troubleshoot and lead under pressure.
- Experience in managing student workers; excellent communication skills.
- Be flexible and resilient; schedules can change quickly due to weather or new opportunities.
