Job title: Graduate Assistant Coach - Men's & Women's Nordic Ski
About the Role St. Lawrence University is seeking a Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Nordic Ski for a 9‑month term (August 2026 – May 2027), targeted toward graduate students pursuing a master’s degree. The role offers a coaching stipend, student health insurance, and eligibility for tuition remission (6 graduate classes per year) as part of St. Lawrence’s Master of Arts in Leadership program.
What You'll Do
- Provide instruction and assist with the day‑to‑day operation of the Nordic Ski program
- Support athlete development, technique feedback, social media, recruiting, equipment management, travel logistics, and other administrative duties
- Collaborate with coaching staff and relevant stakeholders to ensure program success
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the requirements to drive University vehicles
- Must apply to and be accepted into the graduate program at St. Lawrence University
Nice to Have
- Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience (preferred)
