About the Role St. Lawrence University is seeking a Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Crew for a 9-month term (August 2026 – May 2027), targeted toward graduate students pursuing a master’s degree. The role includes a coaching stipend, student health insurance, and eligibility for tuition remission (six graduate classes per year). The GA Coach will report to the Head Coach and support practice instruction, race-day duties, recruiting, and administrative tasks. What You'll Do
- Provide instruction and assist in practice preparation for men's and women's crew
- Support race-day duties and performance analysis
- Assist with recruiting efforts and student-athlete development
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Head Coach
- Ensure eligibility by applying to and being accepted into the St. Lawrence graduate program What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements to drive University vehicles

- Collegiate rowing and/or coaching experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $888 biweekly (on a 9-month appointment)
