About the Role The Graduate Assistant Coach supports the McKendree swimming program by planning and executing training for all three teams, both in and out of the pool. The role also assists the head coach with administrative duties, including monitoring academic progress, recruiting, fundraising, travel planning, and game-day support to help student-athletes excel athletically and academically. What You'll Do
- Plan and execute training for all three teams in and out of the pool
- Assist the head coach with administrative duties, including monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, recruiting, fundraising, travel planning, and assisting with home games
- Collaborate with coaching staff to ensure NCAA, conference, and university rules are followed What We're Looking For
- Required: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a master’s program at McKendree University
- Preferred: Collegiate playing experience, knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA, conference, and university rules
- Work Conditions: Some travel is required Nice to Have
