Job title: Graduate Assistant Coach
About the Role The Franklin Pierce University Men’s Lacrosse program is seeking a qualified candidate for a Graduate Assistant Coach position. This is a two-year appointment with a tuition remission program, and housing is not included. Acceptance into the University’s Graduate School is required before the position is offered.
What You'll Do
- On and Off campus recruiting of qualified student athletes
- Assist with Fundraising activities
- Assist with community service opportunities
- Assist with practice planning and implementation
- Monitoring of academic standing and study halls
- Assist with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work
- Team Social Media/Video program
- Adherence to all NCAA rules and regulations
What We're Looking For
- Successful admission in an FPU Graduate Program
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA playing experience preferred
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level student athletes
