Job title: Graduate Assistant - Campus Ministries

About the Role Graduate Assistant - Campus Ministries will assist the Chapel and Administrative Coordinator with planning and coordinating Chapel and UnChapel services through hospitality coordination, coordinating student volunteer teams, and managing service logistics within Regent's Campus Ministries.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with planning and coordinating Chapel and UnChapel services, hospitality coordination, coordinating student volunteer teams, and service logistics.
  • Shadow and assist the Chapel & Admin Coordinator in supervising department interns and student volunteer teams, including attendance at weekly intern meetings.
  • Assist with supply ordering and coordination.
  • Coordinate other departmental training meetings (Leadership Labs, etc.) and special Campus Ministries events.
  • Shadow and assist with administrative tasks; attend meetings with Regent partners or external partners as assigned for shadowing purposes.
  • Attend supervisory checkpoint meetings with the Chapel & Admin Coordinator and the Director of Campus Ministries as scheduled.
  • Engage in public speaking/ministry opportunities as offered by the Director of Campus Ministries and the Chapel & Admin Coordinator.
  • Assist in providing oversight for Campus Ministries marketing.
  • Connect with ministry partners (UnChapel sponsors, church partners, CM+ partners, etc.) with guidance from the Chapel and Admin Coordinator.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be a current Regent graduate student in good academic standing.
  • Must be comfortable in leadership roles; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Flexible, servant-hearted spirit; eager to learn, grow, and serve with others in the Campus Ministries team.
  • Ability to lead large student teams and be passionate about student discipleship; teachable and adaptable.
  • Willingness to transition into a full-time role within the 2026-2027 academic year; interest in college ministry and mentorship is a plus.
  • Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills; administrative work and event planning interest.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or willingness to learn; budgeting/tracking experience a plus and comfort with monetary calculations required.
  • High degree of emotional and spiritual maturity when dealing with confidential matters; organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable with public speaking; ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity; upholding confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; willingness to work evenings (Thursdays) and occasional other evenings/weekends for events; comfortable in high-paced environments.
  • Creative interest and skill, with comfort or experience in digital marketing platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Experience with church event management software (Planning Center and ProPresenter) is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $12.77 - $14.50 per hour (USD).
  • Benefits: Not benefits eligible.
