GP Opportunity – Salaried, Relief or Lead GP
South East London | £12,000–£14,000 per session | Flexible opportunity
Penrose Health is looking for GPs who want more time with patients, strong support from the wider team and the opportunity to contribute to how our services develop.
We are recruiting salaried GPs across our South East London practices. We also have opportunities for Relief GPs and a Lead GP at Nightingale Surgery.
Our GP offer
We have designed our clinical model to help GPs focus their time where they can make the greatest difference.
Our offer includes:
- 15-minute appointments
- Typically 12–13 patient contacts per session
- Centralised clinical triage
- An established GP Assistant team
- Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team support
- Continuity clinics and patient-initiated follow-up
- Regular clinical meetings and peer support
- Opportunities to contribute to quality improvement
Our patients value our face-to-face approach, which helps clinicians build meaningful relationships and provide continuity of care.
Salaried GP
Our salaried roles offer £12,000–£12,500 per session, depending on experience and wider contribution.
We welcome experienced GPs and can discuss different numbers of sessions and working patterns.
We are looking for GPs who put patients first, communicate clearly, exercise sound clinical judgement and work well with colleagues across professional boundaries.
You do not need to arrive with a portfolio of additional responsibilities. We want excellent GPs who take ownership of patient care and contribute positively to their team. For those who want to develop further, there are opportunities to lead improvement work, develop specialist interests or progress into clinical leadership.
Relief GP
Our relief roles provide planned or ad hoc sessions across our South East London practices and include a company car within the package where you are working 6 or more session with us.
These roles may suit GPs seeking regular flexible work, those combining clinical practice with other commitments, or clinicians who want to get to know Penrose before considering a substantive position.
We want our Relief GPs to become part of our clinical community, working regularly with familiar practices and teams.
Lead GP – Nightingale Surgery £13,000 - £14,000 per session
We are also seeking a Lead GP to combine clinical practice with leadership of the clinical team at Nightingale Surgery.
You will help maintain strong clinical standards, support and develop colleagues, and work with the operational team to improve quality and patient experience.
Previous leadership experience would be helpful, but we will also consider experienced GPs who are ready to take their first formal clinical leadership role.
