Golang Developer

About the Role Ubisoft is seeking a Golang Developer to join the Monitoring team at the Saint-Mandé office in France. You will help build and support the tools that power the monitoring ecosystem in a cloud/virtualized environment, applying DevOps practices and leveraging modern technologies. What You'll Do

• Participate in the entire development lifecycle (SDLC) of the monitoring platform, developing tools and automation within the platform ecosystem.
• Ensure operational stability of infrastructure and services in production.
• Participate in implementing new monitoring platforms and data sources; ensure dashboards and functionalities are effective.
• Participate in application governance and infrastructure monitoring design, implementation, customization, and support.
• Act as an expert in monitoring tools and platform development within the DevOps framework, staying current with trends and practices.
• Configure and maintain a centralized monitoring platform.
• Provide event logs and repositories to facilitate investigation and prevention of incidents, problems, and QoS issues.
• Develop the technical skills of the team through mentoring, coaching, and training.
• Take part in shared operational support and on-call rotations for critical services. What We're Looking For
• Strong experience with Golang.
• Significant experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus) and open-source technologies (time-series DBs, metric dashboards, ELK stacks, and vector).
• Development experience in large enterprise environments and familiarity with DevOps.
• Knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Ability to mentor, coach, and train team members.
• Understanding of infrastructure/element-level event data collection, network and application performance, and operations.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Structured, methodical problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills in French and English. Compensation & Benefits
