Snapshot of Your Day

As the Global Service Readiness & Transition Governance Lead you will be responsible for defining, monitoring and challenging transition readiness for Payroll and T&A from a service owner perspective. You will ensure that the transition is governed through disciplined readiness gates to avoid service disruption, payroll errors, control gaps and unclear ownership.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Define service readiness criteria, stage gates, cutover checkpoints and hypercare governance requirements for Payroll and T&A.
  • Coordinate readiness reviews with Service Owners, SSC, regions, vendors, HR Systems, Finance and Compliance and maintain transition risk, dependency and action tracking from the GSO perspective.
  • Validate that process, knowledge, people, controls, systems, data and escalation paths are ready before transition milestones and escalate readiness gaps and recommend go or no-go decisions to the Global Head and service governance forums.
  • Own readiness governance for future major changes, service expansions, country onboarding, acquisitions and transformation waves.
  • Coordinate post go-live stabilization reviews and handover from hypercare into steady state governance and support future transformation start by ensuring that change readiness is assessed before execution.
  • Provide structured readiness reporting for Payroll and T&A service governance boards.

What You Bring

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in transition governance, service readiness, shared services migration, project assurance, Payroll and Time & Attendance change delivery, or a related transformation environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain practical readiness criteria, checklists, issue logs, risk registers, governance routines, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders, teams, and process areas.
  • Confidence in reviewing readiness evidence, challenging assumptions, and escalating material service continuity risks when required.
  • Good understanding of Payroll and Time & Attendance dependencies across processes, people, controls, systems, data, and vendors.
  • Experience working in complex global organizations undergoing service transitions, operational change, or transformation initiatives.
