- You will regularly correspond with the Managing Editor to report to him/her in a prescribed reporting format on a daily or weekly basis via email, or video conference for assistance with training, troubleshooting, and ensuring that the peer review websites are functioning effectively for each individual journal.
- Based in the SAGE India office, you will regularly correspond, as advised, with all concerned in the SAGE India/UK/US/other location offices to report in a prescribed reporting format on a daily or weekly basis via email or video conference.
- You will be expected to maintain high quality communication and excellent relationships with journal editors, authors, reviewers, and other SAGE staff. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Review submitted manuscripts in ScholarOne to assess suitability and editorial readiness for peer review.
- Select and invite suitable peer-reviewers for individual manuscripts until at least the manuscript receives sufficient good enough reviews (usually 2) in order to recommend/make a decision. Reviewer suitability is to be assessed by considering all potential conflict(s) of interest(s).
