About the Role As a Global Operations Specialist, you will execute the shipment lifecycle for Ocean & Air shipments, maintain data integrity, and proactively minimize delays. You’ll join Flexport’s North American Operations and have opportunities for growth, including potential international assignments as the company expands. What You'll Do
- Be responsible for executing the movement of ocean and air freight shipments from booking at origin to final delivery at destination.
- Maintain communications with Flexport transportation and warehousing partners to facilitate shipments in transit.
- Work and communicate cross-functionally within Flexport.
- Be part of frontline groups ensuring the highest standard of Flexport quality: shipments move on time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
- Use metrics to spot opportunities to improve and deliver strong performance.
- Own the data quality of our client’s information by validating booked shipments, tracking status, and validating schedules.
- Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet internal KPIs and SLAs in line with productivity goals. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s/Associate degree or 1+ year of relevant experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Team-centric mindset focused on delivering for the team and clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite (Sheets/Excel).
- Fluency in English, written and verbal.
