About this role

About the Role This role, reporting to the Global Jobs & Skills Architecture Lead, maintains EY's enterprise-wide skills taxonomy and job architecture. You will design and deliver technology enablement for the job and skills architecture, including building AI agents and prompting strategies to handle large data sets, while aligning changes with Talent, recruitment, learning and workforce planning.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the global skills taxonomy at EY and ensure it remains accurate across the organization, reflected in global technology platforms.
  • Lead skills intelligence using analytics to show skills adjacencies, emerging and declining skills to support career development, resourcing, internal hiring and workforce planning.
  • Identify opportunities to apply agentic AI and related technologies to enhance development, maintenance and accessibility of the skills taxonomy, developing in-house or global-scale deployments.
  • Collaborate with the wider skills transformation team to communicate JSA requirements and embed them in new implementations.
  • Operate within an agreed governance cycle to review the taxonomy and job architecture with required business leaders; manage downstream impacts and communications.
  • Build relationships with business stakeholders to ensure the taxonomy includes key skills for EY delivery; anticipate gaps and liaise with L&D to address capability.
  • Contribute to EY's Global Skills strategy, understand leading skills-centric organizations, and promote skills as a driver for learning, recruitment, and workforce planning.
  • Develop proposals for changes to enhance global skills solutions and the career experience, ensuring consultation with Super Regions and SL and preparing business-case materials for Global Talent governance.
  • Support supervision responsibilities within the Global L&D team to define and implement effective skills and career solutions, with a focus on AI opportunities and a connected agentic system.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of skills-based organizations and how skills contribute to a high performing workforce.
  • Knowledge of AI, automation and agentic capabilities relevant to skills inference, tagging, matching, governance and user experience within Talent and L&D contexts.
  • Advanced understanding of the use and types of skills structures, including their relationship to knowledge and tasks, and how skills can improve employee experience and business success.
  • Knowledge of EY Talent operating model and organization structure.
  • Deep knowledge of the L&D function service delivery model and ways of working, including processes, technology/systems and the organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with global and regional partners.
  • Experience in managing governance and change in large talent-technology initiatives.
