Global Innovation Index (GII) Fellow
Join WIPO's Global Innovation Index team as a 12-month fellow to analyze innovation data, develop indicators, and help communicate findings that inform global innovation policies and measurement approaches.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global innovation data and develop new indicators.
- Contribute to the Global Innovation Index and the Global Innovation Tracker.
- Explore new data sources and visualization tools.
- Develop and apply innovative approaches to measuring innovation.
- Help communicate findings to policymakers and audiences worldwide.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and programming skills, particularly Python and/or R.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Genuine curiosity about innovation and its role in economic development.
- Interest or background in economics and data (implied by role description).
Location and duration:
- Based in Geneva, Switzerland.
- 12-month fellowship with possibility of extension.
