Position: Global Identity Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 3+ month contract; Strong potential for extension or full-time conversion
Description
- The role will provide dedicated execution and coordination support for the Global Identity Program through year-end, involves identifying accountable owners, tracking outstanding actions, coordinating across teams, following up with non-responders, maintaining escalation lists, monitoring aging items, and repeatedly driving actions toward closure.
Overview
- Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
- Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
- Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
- Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
- Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
- Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
- Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets.
- Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.
Key Responsibilities
- Tracking outstanding actions and remediation items
- Following up with application and control owners
- Maintaining action and escalation lists
- Coordinating responses across stakeholders
- Monitoring aging, deadlines, and dependencies
- Escalating stalled or non-responsive items
- Maintaining status reporting and evidence of follow-up
- Driving assigned actions through closure
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage large projects in a way that reduces risk, ensures predictable results, meets, or exceeds its timeline
- Exhibits high degree of creativity, self-motivation, and commitment to task
- Experience in leading several complex system projects
- Expertise in project management discipline and techniques
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
Nice-To-Haves:
- Understanding of systems development methodologies.
- Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design, QA, UAT, and all other groups involved in the end-to-end process needed to define, design, and deploy product capabilities.
- Demonstrates strong relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to quickly build trust and rapport with others in order to structure problems, build consensus, and negotiate agreement.
