  • Global Head of Supplier Quality F&B - Your future position?

  • The Head of Global Supplier Quality is responsible for defining and leading the global strategy and governance for raw material and supplier quality performance across the Fragrance & Beauty Division.

  • In this role, you will ensure consistent quality standards, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive continuous improvement across a complex global supply network.

  • Working closely with Quality, Procurement, Operations, Creation, Technical Perfumery, Regulatory, Innovation, Manufacturing, and Joint Venture partners, you will influence enterprise-wide decisions that support product quality, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and customer satisfaction.

  • This position combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, operational excellence, and people development within a highly collaborative international environment.

  • The position reports to the Global Head of Quality Management and can be based in Ashford, UK, or Sant Celoni, Spain.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Global Supplier Quality Strategy & Governance

  • Define and implement the global supplier quality and raw material quality strategy aligned with business priorities and quality objectives across Givaudan entities and Joint Ventures.

  • Harmonize global quality standards, governance frameworks, KPIs, supplier qualification processes, and audit programs across regions, manufacturing sites, and Joint Ventures.

  • Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives, vendor development programs, and raw material risk management activities.

  • Ensure effective implementation of global quality policies, standards, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Drive the governance and deployment of Raw Material Reference Standards globally, including within Joint Ventures where applicable.

  • Technical & Operational Leadership

  • Serve as the global subject matter expert for supplier quality, raw material quality, and Quality Control-related topics.

  • Provide technical leadership in olfactive quality, sensory evaluation, ingredient manufacturing processes, laboratory operations, and root cause investigations.

  • Support quality risk assessments, quality incident resolution, and data-driven decision-making processes to strengthen supplier and raw material performance.

  • Monitor supplier quality performance and identify opportunities to improve consistency, reliability, and operational effectiveness across the supply network.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships with Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Creation, Technical Perfumery, Innovation teams, external suppliers, and Joint Venture stakeholders to improve quality performance and business outcomes.

  • Influence strategic decisions through technical expertise, business insight, and effective stakeholder management.

  • Coach and support regional quality teams, site quality leaders, and Joint Venture quality counterparts in supplier quality management practices.

  • Represent Supplier Quality within global quality governance forums and cross-functional business initiatives.

  • Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and global quality networks supporting supplier quality initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and quality excellence across internal teams and Joint Venture partnerships.

  • Support organizational capability building, succession planning, and the development of sensory and technical expertise across the organization.

  • Drive transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality performance and operational efficiency globally.

Your professional profile includes:

Education

  • University degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Material Science, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Professional Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of Quality Management experience within the fragrance industry or related sectors such as FMCG, cosmetics, flavors, specialty chemicals, or consumer products.

  • Strong expertise in raw material quality management, olfactive evaluation, and supplier quality systems.

  • Significant experience leading Quality Control and/or Supplier Quality teams in a global environment.

  • Proven success managing complex cross-functional projects and stakeholder networks.

  • Experience leading and developing international teams and technical experts.

  • Technical & Leadership Competencies

  • Strong understanding of ingredient manufacturing processes, laboratory operations, and raw material processing techniques.

  • Broad knowledge of global quality systems, regulatory requirements, and ingredient safety principles.

  • Expertise in sensory science principles and interpretation of sensory data.

  • Ability to influence and lead through collaboration in a matrix organization.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
