Global Demand Planning Manager

About the Role The Global Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the global demand planning process, driving forecast accuracy, improving business predictability, and supporting strategic decision-making. The role leads regional assessments, implements best-in-class forecasting practices, drives ML forecasting adoption globally, and leverages SAP IBP Demand Planning to generate insights and measurable improvements. The role represents the demand side of Supply Chain within the operational side of the business. What You'll Do

• Lead and govern the global demand planning process; drive alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain; facilitate monthly global demand review and executive S&OP/IBP meetings; ensure demand plans support growth objectives and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regional assessments and continuous improvement; identify gaps, develop regional roadmaps, mentor regional teams, monitor progress, and benchmark performance across regions.
• Lead the global deployment of machine learning forecasting; partner with IT, Data Science, SAP consultants, and external vendors; evaluate models; drive adoption and governance for forecast review and model improvement.
• Serve as the global SAP IBP Demand Planning lead; optimize functionalities (Statistical Forecasting, Demand Sensing, Forecast Consumption, Segmentation and Analytics, Collaboration Workflows, Alert Monitoring and Exception Management); drive integrations with ERP; develop dashboards and analytics; maximize user adoption.
• Monitor forecast performance; lead root-cause analysis for deviations; implement corrective actions to improve planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning; support inventory optimization, capacity planning; drive consensus forecasting across regions and 5-year volume planning with regional teams.
• Provide Data & Analytics leadership by establishing data governance for forecasting inputs, driving advanced analytics and predictive planning, identifying automation opportunities, and delivering actionable insights from demand trends and market intelligence. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Integrated Business Planning.
• Proven experience managing global or multi-regional demand planning organizations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Demand Planning.
• Experience implementing Machine Learning forecasting solutions.
• Strong background in S&OP / IBP processes.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus (e.g., Dutch, Chinese, German, Spanish). Nice to Have
