About the Role Global Category Manager for e-Components in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will own developing and executing the overarching global procurement strategy for electronic components powering Roche’s next-generation diagnostic devices. You will lead end-to-end supplier networks, manage top-tier suppliers, navigate global supply chain complexities, and translate category goals into bottom-line value creation. What You'll Do
- Formulate a formalized, global Category Strategy and initiative pipeline by collating market intelligence, supplier data, and business requirements, aligned with organizational leaders.
- Lead high-value commercial and contractual negotiations with strategic suppliers within the category.
- Manage key global suppliers, establish development and innovation programs, monitor value targets, and oversee supplier risk. What We're Looking For
- Experience in developing and executing global procurement strategies and category management, specifically for electronic components or similar high-tech spend.
- Proven ability to manage supplier ecosystems, drive partnerships, and translate category goals into measurable value.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including Delivery, COE, and global business partners; effective communication with senior stakeholders.
