About the Role Tower Semiconductor is seeking a strategic, results-driven Global Category Leader to lead sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of Semiconductor CAPEX, tooling, and services. You will own end-to-end responsibility for global CAPEX and local suppliers within your assigned category, collaborating with cross-functional engineering, R&D, and equipment support teams across our global manufacturing sites to drive cost-reduction initiatives, mitigate supply chain risks, and optimize operational performance. What You'll Do
- Lead global CAPEX and local supplier management within the assigned category, including end-to-end sourcing, negotiations, and lifecycle management for CAPEX, tooling, and services.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and manage supplier performance, including escalations, corrective actions, scorecards, and structured business reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, ERS) across Tower’s global sites to optimize supply availability and operational efficiency.
- Lead category meetings across sites and manage supplier selection processes; renew or negotiate new agreements to improve cost and performance.
- Manage ERP activities including PO releases and follow-up; develop and implement sourcing strategies and continuity plans.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relations; monitor compliance with service and supply agreements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement ideas to enhance performance and resilience. What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering. An MBA, MS, or related advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Substantial experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; Hebrew is a plus but not required.
- Negotiation: Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to lead complex supplier negotiations.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Time Management: Ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Drive: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
- Work Environment: 100% on-site role; must be able to work in person daily.

- Salary range: $158,726 - $168,544 per year
