The University of Minnesota's Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation is hiring a board certified/eligible GI oncologist at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank.
Our GI oncology program is expanding, and this role comes with real room to shape it. You'll join a collaborative team covering pancreatic, hepatobiliary, colorectal, gastric and esophageal malignancies, serving one of the largest referral populations in the Upper Midwest. Rank and research expectations are flexible based on your background and goals.
What you'll do
- Inpatient and outpatient GI oncology care, including telehealth clinics
- Multidisciplinary GI tumor boards and disease-specific clinics
- Lead clinical trials or translational research aligned with your interests
- Collaborate with Masonic Cancer Center investigators
- Mentor students, residents, Hem/Onc fellows and junior faculty

Requirements: ACGME fellowship graduate, board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology/Oncology, MN license eligible.

Compensation Details
$270K–$465K
Pay and Benefits:
This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for this position is $270,000-$465,407 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE. The salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired.
