About the Role Lucideon is seeking an experienced GHG or Environmental Data Auditor / Lead Auditor on a sub-contractor basis. You will join a team renowned for well-planned and well-executed audits across industries, delivering impartial verification to meet mandatory and voluntary standards. What You'll Do
- Site visits to a range of manufacturing sites (e.g., ceramics) and other organisations (e.g., hospitals, universities)
- Preparation of reports and audit statements
- Interviews with site personnel
- Delivery of services including: GHG verification for UK ETS, GHG verification for EU ETS, GHG verification for Activity Level Data Reports, and GHG/Environmental data verification for voluntary reports (e.g., CDP, GRESB, Environmental Data reporting, OFGEM, etc.) What We're Looking For
- A degree in sustainability/carbon discipline or scientific/numerical discipline is desirable; previous energy or environmental role experience
- Previous verification/certification experience, preferably at Lead Verifier status
- Industry experience in an energy or environmental related role
- Awareness of environmental organisations/regulations
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Flexible for travel (mainly UK, but possibly overseas)
- Driving license essential
- Good communicator
- Good knowledge of GHG concepts (sampling, uncertainty, materiality) and calculations
- Excellent MS Excel and good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting regulations (TCFD, SASB, SEC) and schemes like GRI is desirable Nice to Have
