ExxonMobil is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to propose innovative geotechnical approaches that enhance foundation design efficiency, minimize construction costs, and uphold our safety culture and management systems across projects in India. The role involves leading geotechnical investigations, design criteria, and execution plans to support earthworks, foundations, and piling. What You'll Do

Provide expert recommendations for geotechnical investigation needs, design criteria, and execution plans regarding earthworks, foundations, and piling, supporting projects, overseeing drilling, and operations.

Spearhead geotechnical projects, including technical bid evaluation, vendor selection, project cost evaluation, and schedule management.

Assess geotechnical risks associated with offshore and onshore projects and devise mitigation strategies to mitigate potential safety and reliability concerns.

Assist in site selection for new developments and evaluate pipeline routes.

Oversee third-party geotechnical studies and ensure the development of design parameters, actively managing activities performed by external parties.

Provide technical support and review scopes of work for geotechnical activities. What We're Looking For

Experience in geotechnical investigation needs, design criteria, and execution plans for earthworks, foundations, and piling.

Experience with technical bid evaluation, vendor selection, cost and schedule management.

Ability to assess geotechnical risks offshore and onshore and develop mitigation strategies.

Knowledge of site selection for new developments and pipeline route evaluation.

Experience overseeing external geotechnical studies and managing vendors/consultants. Nice to Have
