  • Partner with Purchasing to source Checking Fixtures and manage their lifecycle from Design through Plant Acceptance.
  • Manage technical follow-up of Design/Development/Manufacturing/Validation and Tuning of checking fixtures until Plant Acceptance; validate commissioning per standard & spec (Safety, functionality, ergonomy, Gauge Repeatability, lack of interference).
  • Drive Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gauge RR) at plants and deliver operational training; perform analysis and advise actions on fixtures, products, or work instructions.
  • Conduct measurement and data analysis using Excel or Minitab; perform dimensional measurements and deliver dimensional reports; 3D scanning experience is a plus (Polyworks).
  • Support Product Convergence: validate tolerance commitments in RFQ with PLE, validate measurement scenarios, and validate the content of Geometry Folders; lead Geometry Folder definitions for complex/innovative projects; ensure correct usage of tools and methodology; estimate budget for global geometry scenarios and obtain validation from the Manager.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Project Manager and Design Leader during dimensional convergence/tuning following OPTIMAP process; synthesize results (1D/2D/3D) and capabilities.
  • Plan, organize, and perform all measurements according to Metrology Requests; deliver final statements emphasizing best practices; consolidate final dimensional production capabilities to improve tolerance calculation tools and share learnings with geometry Metier central.
  • Validate datum schemes, stack-ups, and tolerances calculated by the DL and/or EPM; act as key user for Network or local trainer for PO university; support on global complex projects for quotations, fixtures, or product definitions.
  • Define methodologies for development and operational standards; drive métier efficiency within Engineering Centers and Network management; influence future métier projects (new measurement tools and technologies).
