Job Description We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Geography Teacher to join our vibrant educational team.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering dynamic Geography lessons that ignite students' passion for understanding the world. Your expertise will guide students in exploring geographical concepts, connecting them to current events, and fostering critical thinking skills.
You will play a key part in monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate academic records, and preparing students thoroughly for internal and external examinations, including WAEC, NECO, and JAMB.
Collaboration with fellow educators, parents, and school management will be essential to ensure comprehensive student support and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons across assigned classes
- Make learning interactive and relevant by connecting Geography to real-world events and issues
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests and practical activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance and development
- Prepare students effectively for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, JAMB)
- Work closely with teachers, parents/guardians and school management to support student success
- Promote curiosity, critical thinking and a love for learning in every student
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Guidance & Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant counselling experience, preferably in a school environment.
- Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and young people.
- Patience, empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
