Job Title: Generator Operator

Job Description
- We are seeking a technically competent and safety-conscious Generator Operator with hands-on experience operating industrial generators in a production or manufacturing factory.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable power supply to support uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Requirements
- Relevant technical qualification, such as OND, Trade Test or vocational certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience operating industrial generators in a production or manufacturing factory.
- Sound knowledge of generator operation, control panels, start-up and shutdown procedures, and power changeover systems.
- Ability to understand and monitor technical parameters, including voltage, current, frequency, load, engine temperature and oil pressure.
- Practical knowledge of routine generator inspections, basic preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting.
- Ability to monitor fuel consumption, check oil and coolant levels, identify abnormal operating conditions and promptly report faults.
- Ability to maintain accurate generator operating logs, running hours, fuel usage and maintenance records.
- Strong commitment to operational safety and the ability to work shifts when required.
