Job title: General Production - Debone Plant Dept. 441
About the Role Support production in the Debone Plant by performing setup/tear-down, packaging, labeling and other duties to produce quality chicken products for customers. This is a hands-on, safety-sensitive role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on cleanliness and productivity.
What You'll Do
- Set up/tear down workstation and line as required
- Remove tenders from carcass; sort and grade product
- Make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes
- Scale boxed product to required weight; label boxes as applicable to customer specifications
- Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner
- Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds

- This is a safety sensitive position
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold
- The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and reach; willingness to perform a variety of production tasks
- Regularly able to lift/move 25-50 pounds
- Comfortable working in wet/humid conditions, cold environments, and loud settings
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards; ability to follow policies and procedures
- Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive role
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.25 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
