About the Role Bachoco USA is seeking a General Production team member for the 1st Shift in the Debone Plant (Dept. 441). This on-site role supports the production of quality chicken and related products, with responsibilities across setting up workstations, packaging, labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The position requires standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting in a high-volume, safety-sensitive environment. What You'll Do
- Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; removes tenders from carcass; sort and grade product; make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes; scale boxed product to required weight; label boxes as applicable to customer specifications; and maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
- Stand for long periods, walk, and reach with hands/arms; regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.
- Follow safety protocols and cooperate with training and mentorship programs (including 30-Day shadowing and mentorship).
- Operate in a wet/humid environment with moving parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme cold as part of a high-volume production line. What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach; regular lift/move of up to 25-50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive, loud production environment with exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving machinery, fumes/particles, dust, and extreme temperatures.
- On-site, 1st Shift work schedule from 7:55 a.m. to 4:55 p.m. for Debone Plant Dept. 441.
- Participation in company programs such as a 30-Day job shadowing and mentorship when starting. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $16.25 per hour.
