Job title: General Pool – Faculty
About the Role This posting invites current UC employees to apply to be included in the general pool of candidates for qualified faculty roles. Appointments are department-dependent and may vary in number; there is no guarantee that an open position currently exists. Ranks and compensation are based on experience and credentials, and classes may be scheduled day or evening.
What You'll Do
- Teach courses as assigned by the department (day and/or evening classes).
- Maintain effective teaching performance and contribute to student success.
- Engage in department activities and support the university’s mission as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Academic credentials and relevant teaching or scholarly experience appropriate for faculty roles.
- Ability to teach courses in assigned subject areas and willingness to teach day and/or evening classes.
- Commitment to student success and high-quality teaching.
- Official transcripts will be required at the time of hire.
