About the Role DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Implementation General Manager to lead new start-up operations within our Technology sector. The role provides strategic and operational leadership throughout the implementation and launch of new business opportunities, ensuring successful execution from initial start-up through transition into a fully operational environment. Candidates should have General Manager-level experience or Senior Operations Manager experience with full P&L ownership; start-up implementation experience is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Lead start-up implementations and launches of new operations, ensuring successful transition to full operation.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership with full P&L ownership, managing cross-functional teams and customer relationships.
- Collaborate directly with customers as a trusted operational partner throughout implementation and ongoing operations.
- Build processes, stabilize performance, develop teams, and foster a strong site culture.
- Travel approximately 80% to support implementations and customer engagements.
What We're Looking For
- General Manager experience or Senior Operations Manager experience with full P&L ownership; proven P&L management with financial accountability.
- Experience building and developing strong site culture and high-performing teams.
- Experience working with Tier 1 WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or comparable).
- Experience working directly with customers and managing customer relationships.
- Ability and willingness to travel ~80%.
- Start-up implementation experience (highly preferred).
- Strong background in continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies (preferred).
Nice to Have
- Experience leading start-up operations and new facility implementations.
- Experience supporting large-scale customer implementations.
- Additional continuous improvement methodologies experience (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 - $155,000 per year (USD).
