Job Summary

• An established agro-allied company is seeking an experienced and result-driven General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across its business activities.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, managing resources, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring the achievement of organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the company's operations and business activities.

• Develop and implement business strategies, operational plans, and performance targets.

• Oversee production, procurement, sales, finance, administration, logistics, and other key business functions.

• Monitor operational costs, budgets, productivity, and profitability.

• Establish effective systems, policies, procedures, and accountability structures.

• Supervise and evaluate departmental heads and ensure effective coordination across departments.

• Identify business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer and stakeholder relationships.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Prepare and present periodic management reports to the company’s leadership.

• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve business performance.

• Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, or a related discipline.

• A postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.

• 5 - 8 years' relevant management experience, preferably in an agro-allied, agricultural processing, manufacturing, or related industry.

• Proven experience managing multiple departments and leading teams.

• Strong knowledge of business operations, budgeting, cost control, procurement, inventory management, and performance management.

• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, improve processes, and drive business growth.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.

• High level of integrity, accountability, and commercial awareness.

Benefits

• Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦500,000 Gross Monthly
• One year Accommodation for Candidates outside of Anambra State.
