Section: Overview We are a growing home fragrance and lifestyle company creating products and sensory experiences for homes, businesses and hospitality spaces. With operations in Nigeria and Rwanda, our business spans retail, modern trade, hospitality and corporate channels, with ambitious plans for continued growth.
We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded General Manager to work closely with the CEO and take ownership of the day-to-day running and growth of the business.
Section: Responsibilities The General Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day business operations
- Managing retail and stall operations and driving sales performance
- Coordinating production teams and production schedules
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
- Managing relationships with retail and modern trade partners
- Driving sales, revenue and new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strategic business relationships
- Managing team performance and supporting HR functions
- Improving systems, processes and operational efficiency
- Monitoring business performance and preparing regular reports
- Working closely with the CEO to execute business strategy and priorities
Section: Requirements We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, proactive, highly organised and comfortable taking ownership. The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience in management, operations, sales, commercial or business development
- Have a strong understanding of how businesses grow and generate revenue
- Be entrepreneurial and capable of working with limited supervision
- Have strong leadership and people-management skills
- Be highly organised and detail-oriented
- Be confident working with numbers, reports and business data
- Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Canva and other relevant business tools
- Be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
We are looking for someone who can look at the business as a whole, identify what needs to be done and take responsibility for getting it done.
