Section: Description A General Manager is needed to work closely with the CEO and take ownership of the day-to-day running and growth of the business in a home fragrance and lifestyle company with operations in Nigeria and Rwanda.
Section: The Role The General Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day business operations
- Managing retail and stall operations and driving sales performance
- Coordinating production teams and production schedules
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
- Managing relationships with retail and modern trade partners
- Driving sales, revenue and new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strategic business relationships
- Managing team performance and supporting HR functions
- Improving systems, processes and operational efficiency
- Monitoring business performance and preparing regular reports
- Working closely with the CEO to execute business strategy and priorities
Section: Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, proactive, highly organised and comfortable taking ownership. The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience in management, operations, sales, commercial or business development
- Have a strong understanding of how businesses grow and generate revenue
- Be entrepreneurial and capable of working with limited supervision
- Have strong leadership and people-management skills
- Be highly organised and detail-oriented
- Be confident working with numbers, reports and business data
- Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Canva and other relevant business tools
- Be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
Section: Position Details Location: Lagos Preferred Location: Applicants must reside in Lekki or its immediate environs Salary: ₦350,000 monthly + performance incentives Experience: Relevant management, operations, sales or commercial experience required
