General Laborer

About the Role Volt is hiring multiple General Laborers in Red Oak, Texas. This is a Full-time Contract opportunity. As a General Laborer, you will install, repair, and maintain the electrical parts of industrial equipment, support safety and quality initiatives on site, and work with a team to complete projects. What You'll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain the electrical parts of industrial equipment.
• Work individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects.
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to electrical codes.
• Correctly interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments.
• Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.
• Manage administrative processes including torque sheets, 5S (Five S), and tool inventory/tracking.
• Promote a "Safety first" culture, lead by example, implement safety policies and conduct safety audits.
• Utilize a tape measure to complete tasks. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree/trade school certification in a related field preferred.
• Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program helpful.
• Manufacturing experience such as assembly, wiring or related field; factory setting with adherence to safety protocols.
• Knowledge of pertinent electrical codes and regulations; electrical experience is very helpful.
• Ability to read schematics and other technical documents.
• Proficiency with a tape measure.
• Willingness to work in a 3 days/12-hour shift schedule (6am–6pm). Nice to Have
• Associate degree/trade school certification in a related field (preferred).
• Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program helpful.
• Prior manufacturing experience in assembly, wiring or related field. Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour.
