About this role

About the Role Assist Foreman and skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision. Usually an entry level position as the first step to learn a skill. This role supports Ferrovial Webber's on-site construction teams, enabling safe, efficient delivery of projects across U.S. and Canada. What You'll Do

  • Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake.
  • Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
  • Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
  • Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools.
  • Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
  • Perform a variety of routine non-machine tasks such as removing forms, filling excavations, placing pipe sections in trench and assembling sections of pipe.
  • Perform a variety of machine tasks such as tapping soil, jack hammering and assisting in the fusing of pipe.
  • Comply with all safety policies, report unsafe activities to supervisor. What We're Looking For
  • Less than a High School Diploma.
  • Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind).
  • Heavy physical activity; capable of performing demanding day-to-day tasks.
  • Manual dexterity to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
  • Willingness to learn and work under supervision; strong teamwork and reliability. Nice to Have
