About the Role
Join Cemex US as a General Laborer at our Oxnard, CA plant. Under supervision you will perform a variety of strenuous unskilled and semi-skilled tasks to support plant operations and maintenance. This role emphasizes safety, hands-on activity, and teamwork in a heavy industrial environment. What You'll Do

Digging, excavating, trenching, and backfilling

Keep facility clean and organized

Build forms and stripping forms

Mix and pour concrete and castables

Perform or assist with minor maintenance and repairs

Assist in cleanup prior to and after maintenance work

Adhere to all Cemex and OSHA rules and wear proper safety equipment

Meet or exceed company safety standards

Perform other responsibilities as assigned What We're Looking For

Ability to read, write, and speak English

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Bilingual a plus
-
Willingness to work in extreme heat, cold, and noise; outdoor work

Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds constantly)

Must wear protective equipment and be able to operate around heavy rolling equipment; ability to push, turn, and pull controls

Must be able to pass DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen

Base pay ranges from $24.10 to $25.07 per hour, depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skill sets, experience, and education
