Description

Weekends Machinist / Parts Processor
Our client is looking for an experienced Machinist. This position is located in Carlisle.
Starting Pay: $20.00-22.00 + Shift Differential
Hours: 6pm-6am (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Duties

Operate all manufacturing equipment including band saws, iron workers, and plasma torches.
Ensure products are manufactured to quality and safety standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and material dimensions.
Read and interpret symbols and materials needed for manufacture.

Requirements

3+ years of experience with relevant machining.
Steel toed boots/shoes with metatarsal cover.
Current Forklift Certification (min of 1 year exp)
High School diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic mathematics knowledge and understanding of angles.
Knowledge of and previous experience with all cutting types (Band saw, torch, plasma, and shear).
Basic Brake Press knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for an 8-10 hour shift.
Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
