General Help Production Associate

Remedy Staffing is hiring!

Join a growing food production team, a company producing over 1.5 million pounds of premium beef, pork, and lamb products annually. Products are sold to restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and retail grocery channels.

Location: Erie, PA Area
Pay Rates:
- 1st Shift: $17.00/hr
- 2nd Shift: $18.00/hr
Available Shifts:
-
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
-
Must be flexible to stay until 3:00 PM when needed
-
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Job Duties
-
Production/Processing Department
-
Work in the processing room handling raw meat products
-
Assist with food production and processing activities
-
Follow food safety and quality standards
-
Cooler Department (40°F Environment)
-
Pack cooked products
-
Wrap and package finished goods
-
Build boxes for shipment
-
Scan products and materials
-
Prepare orders for distribution
-
Work Environment
-
Cold temperatures in cooler areas (approximately 40°F)
-
Must be comfortable working around meat products
-
Safety equipment provided, including:
-
Cotton gloves
-
Rubber gloves
-
White lab jacket
Requirements
-
Reliable attendance and transportation
-
Ability to stand for extended periods
-
Ability to work in a cold environment
-
Ability to lift, move, and package products as needed
-
Willingness to follow all safety and food handling procedures
