Job title: General Accountant - Retail
About the Role The role sits in Giorgio Armani's Administration, Finance and Control Department, within the Retail General Accounting team. You will support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate recording of invoices, accruals and month-end activities, and assist with intercompany reconciliations and asset capitalization.
What You'll Do
- Review, verify, and record invoices
- Review, verify, and prepare the monthly payment schedule
- Support fixed assets accounting and capitalization processes
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data, including accruals and provisions for monthly closing activities
- Liaise with other accounting teams and the Treasury Department
- Perform reconciliations of intercompany transactions and suspense accounts
- Support the preparation of periodic tax returns and related tax compliance activities
- Manage administrative procedures and documentation required for day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma in Accounting and/or Degree in Economics
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of SAP FI will be considered a plus
- Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken); knowledge of French will be considered a plus
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 25,000 - 30,000 euros, CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi
