About the Role The Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive physician services at Endeavor Health facilities in the Edward Hospital (Naperville) and Elmhurst Hospital regions. You will assess, diagnose, plan and treat a wide range of GI health issues and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes. This role includes growth in the Naperville market with development of a GI presence on the Edward Hospital campus, with call shared with the Elmhurst GI team. What You'll Do
- Provide gastroenterology care across clinic, hospital inpatient units, and endoscopy lab in Elmhurst and Naperville, IL.
- Support growth in the Naperville market by establishing a GI presence on the Edward Hospital campus; participate in a Monday–Friday schedule with weekday and weekend call rotation; 1.0 FTE, 36 patient-facing hours.
- Collaborate with PCPs and specialty care network; coordinate patient care with 24/7 Hospitalist and Intensivist programs; utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry.
- Deliver comprehensive services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures consistent with best practices; work with experienced mid-level staff in clinic and hospital settings. What We're Looking For
- MD - Medicine required; current DEA license and all other licenses as related to specialty.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an integrated setting with PCPs, specialists, and hospital-based teams; experience with inpatient and outpatient GI care and endoscopy is preferred.
- Eligible to practice in Illinois as required by licensure; strong communication and patient-centric care approach. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary guaranteed for 2 years: $319,000 – $740,000 (annual)
