JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade.

‎

We are seeking an experienced sewing and repair specialist to provide high-quality garment and accessory restoration services.

How you create impact

  • Perform precise sewing, stitching, and hand-sewn repairs on garments and textile products.
  • Conduct minor clothing repairs, including patching, hemming, zipper replacement, and reinforcement.
  • Use garment care equipment such as steamers and specialized cleaning tools to refresh and clean shoes, leather accents, and fabrics.
  • Assess items for repair needs and recommend appropriate action (repair, restoration, cleaning).
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ensure workspace and equipment are properly maintained and organized.
  • Communicate with team members and customers (when needed) to clarify repair needs and timelines.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

What we would like you to bring

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in sewing, stitching, garment care, or minor repair work, including familiarity with both hand-sewing and machine sewing.
  • Comfortable using garment care equipment (e.g., steam machines) and hand tools for cleaning and repairs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a workshop setting.
  • Bilingual (English + another language).
  • Experience in a repair center, refurbishment, tailoring, or textile environment.
  • Background in leather or accessory repair.
  • Experience with refurbished goods or quality restoration.
