Cedar Grillz & Lounge is a contemporary food and lifestyle destination offering delicious meals, premium grills, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed lounge experience. The brand is designed to combine great food, stylish ambience, and quality hospitality, creating a memorable experience for individuals, families, friends, and special occasions.

Core Purpose Run the snooker tables and PS5 stations, keep all equipment in perfect condition, manage sessions and billing accurately, and create a fun, fair and welcoming atmosphere. Act as host, referee and event organiser to turn the games lounge into one of the venue’s biggest attractions. This is a Full-time, shift-based (evenings, weekends & public holidays) position in Gwarinpa, Abuja. Reports to the General Manager (with day-to-day coordination through the Restaurant Supervisor).

Key Responsibilities

• Open, set up, operate and close the games lounge daily (snooker tables and PS5 stations)
• Manage sessions, bookings, timing and accurate billing
• Welcome players, teach beginners, referee games and keep the atmosphere friendly and inclusive
• Plan and run tournaments, leagues, match nights and special games events
• Maintain and clean all equipment (tables, cues, consoles, controllers, screens)
• Enforce house rules, age ratings, fair play and respectful behaviour
• Handle cash, POS entries and tournament fees honestly
• Support marketing with photos, scores and content from games nights

Requirements

• Minimum: SSCE / WAEC / NECO with credits in English and Mathematics
• Preferred: OND/HND in Hospitality, Business, Sports Management or related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in a games lounge, snooker hall, gaming centre or similar venue preferred (strong players with excellent people skills may be considered)
• Strong knowledge of snooker rules/scoring and popular PS5 titles
• Honesty with cash, good organisation and excellent people skills
• Minimum age: 18
