About the Role YoYo Studios is building Meme Wars, a 3D mobile arena fighter where internet memes fight each other. We’re in a launch sprint and need a gameplay developer who builds combat that feels incredible and ships fast.
What You'll Do
- Build and iterate on combat systems for Meme Wars to feel responsive and fun on mobile.
- Implement movesets, combos, and supers for meme characters, balancing and tuning gameplay.
- Ship features quickly during the launch sprint by collaborating with design, art, and QA.
- Optimize for mobile performance to ensure smooth gameplay.
What We're Looking For
- Experience building gameplay systems for mobile games, with a focus on combat and feel.
- Ability to ship features rapidly in a launch sprint and iterate from feedback.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and collaborating across teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 5,000–8,000 per month.
